Install a pellet burner in my fireplace in Dublin and in Ireland

The QAÏTO is a pellet burner made in France by CONFORT DOMO FRANCE. It is a simple and economical accessory that allows you to transform your fireplace or wood stove into a pellet fireplace.

The QAÏTO contributes to this boom because it provides a unique reversible option “pellets – logs” in fireplaces (or wood stoves) with an air inlet at the bottom of the hearth (this is the majority of wood stoves or fireplaces).

How does the QAÏTO pellet burner work?

The functioning of the QAÏTO is as economical as it is simple to install and start.

In an open fireplace or one equipped with an insert, you just need an air inlet – combustion air or primary air – through the hearth’s floor grate. The air inlet is often coupled with the ash pan. The same goes for wood stoves.

By placing the stainless steel base of the QAÏTO pellet burner on the floor grate - where the air arrives - and without modifying the hearth structure, you will concentrate the combustion air at the center of the burner thanks to the 12-cm round opening in the stainless steel plate.

Then, place the stainless steel sleeve on this base, inserting the small tenons into the slots according to the model. Then insert the cast iron part - the burner - into the sleeve. Your QAÏTO® is ready. You only need to fill it with wood pellets.

Like a log fire, you can recharge the QAÏTO® pellet burner at any time, taking the usual precautions as with logs.

It is therefore a very easy option to install and recharge. And you have the ability to return to using logs by moving the QAÏTO® when it is cold. It is best to store it in its packaging, which is also designed to last a long time.

The combustion of pellets is very clean and leaves little ash as long as your chimney draft is efficient. Managing wood pellets is facilitated by a large supply in many sales outlets and easy storage. Pellets are clean (no sawdust or bark that dirties the hallway(!)). In small quantities, they are easy to transport (**).
